The list is a ranking of the first three months of 2019. Nameberry’s formula measures the names that have attracted the most interest from the site’s 11 million page views so far this year.”The names at the top of Nameberry’s list are those that have a good chance of getting a lot hotter over the next few years,” said Nameberry co-creator and CEO Pamela Redmond Satran.The most popular baby names in the first quarter of 2019 includes the names Posie and Milo, according to Nameberry. (Photo: Getty Images)Posie replaces Olivia. Milo replaces Atticus.”Posie was a real surprise – we had not seen that name anywhere (sic) that popular at any time in the past,” Satran said. She credits the rise in the name of Milo to Milo Ventimiglia of “This Is Us.”Satran said that Nameberry’s list is futuristic and parents can search for stylish names today and make real-time naming decisions. “They often want to know not how popular Cora WAS but how popular it’s going to be in the future,” she said. “Will their little Cora be one of three in her kindergarten class? Will Cora get so popular it might be the Jennifer or Ashley of the future, or will it retain the unique quality that makes it appealing now?” Names.org also offers a list of popular baby names for the year.
